Life is challenging. Trying to find answers or connect to a new place can be awkward and uncomfortable, too. So, we want to do everything we can to make your first time here a great one! We would love to have you as our guest at Vertical Point. We promise not to single you out or make you uncomfortable. To help you know what to expect, we’ve provided some information in this space that many newcomers want to know about. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact us. We hope to see you soon!
What are the service times?
Worship @ 10:30 AM
Where are you located?
860 Airport Drive in Alexander City, AL
What is the dress code?
We truly are a “come as you are” church. On any given Sunday you will find folks in jeans, slacks, dresses, ties, and everything in between! Whatever you wear, you will fit right in. We want to make sure what we wear isn’t the main concern. It’s our heart that God is most concerned with!
What makes Vertical Point unique?
You’ve probably noticed there are lots of churches in our community. What sets our church apart? We believe it is the commitment we have to love and accept people and our vision of making disciples. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you’ve done, or where you’ve been, we believe God loves you and we do as well. We have a strategy and plan to help you grow and mature in your walk with Jesus.
Are there ministries and programs for my family?
Yes, we have ministries for the entire family! We have an amazing team that leads our children in the TeamKid curriculum on Sundays and we also have Youth group on Monday nights during Celebrate Recovery. We also have many ministries aimed at adults of all ages. Check out some our ministries here.
Our mission is to lead people to live vertical lives for the glory of God through the Gospel of Jesus!
Our desire is to see lives eternally changed, marriages completely restored, addictions overcome, families healed, and hearts made whole. We strive to present the hope of Jesus through practical teaching, excellent worship, and opportunities to serve others.
